The journey so far...

Kevin Patterson is of German and New Zealand descent and he has been singing and playing guitar since his childhood. Back in the day while visiting a friend of the family, he had the opportunity of playing on an electric guitar for the first time and he was spellbound. He decided this was the one thing he wanted to do and he has done so ever since.

This aspiration was even more strengthened by a Dire Straits concert he attended at an early age. He and a friend of his immediately founded their first band with many more to follow. He began gigging while taking lessons with various teachers which eventually led to professional guitar training in Switzerland and Spain.

While being a songwriter, guitar player and singer in different outfits, he has toured all of Europe and played approximately up to two hundred concerts in front of an audience of only one and more than four thousand. He has done support tours and shows for some renowned artists and has written about fifty songs and recorded six albums.

He has been teaching guitar in private lessons and at music schools to hundreds of students over the years while also conducting band projects which have been consolidated by many public performances.

During this time he has ventured into many different styles, discovering unknown territories from Rock into Flamenco, Folk, Country, Blues, Fingerstyle and Clawhammer. While doing this he has partaken in workshops of some notable guitarists.

Currently he is releasing new material with a series called “The sofa demo tape sessions”. These new songs are actually recorded on a sofa and each one comes with a self-made videoclip. More here;
